BACC Awards Nearly $7,000 in Charitable Donations from 2017 Uncork Barrington Event
“We are delighted to award these worthwhile organizations donations directly from the proceeds of Uncork Barrington,” said BACC President/CEO Suzanne Corr. “The Chamber is very thankful to all who attended, sponsored, and supported Uncork to make these donations possible!”
More than 900 people attended Uncork Barrington on July 7, 2017, to enjoy an evening of wine, food, and live entertainment in support of these local charities. Admission included access to over 50 wines, 20 one oz. tasting pours, a souvenir wine glass, a Passport Event Guide, and complimentary nibbles.

The Barrington Area Chamber of Commerce presented donations from the proceeds of 2017 Uncork Barrington to six local charities at its monthly board meeting on September 28. Those in attendance for the presentation were (l-r): Suzanne Corr (Barrington Area Chamber of Commerce), Kimberly Priola (Barrington Children's Choir), Joyce Palmquist (Barrington Area Council on Aging), Christopher Campbell (CareerPlace), and Rita Rippentrop (Barrington Youth & Family Services). Barrington Area United Way and Samaritan Counseling Center also received donations from the event.
