For additional information/R.S.V.P.: Contact: Marla at 847-540-3706 or mpendergrast@countrysideassn.org Featured Speaker Robin Rhode Employment Specialist with Countryside Association From 2009-2012, Robin owned her own part-time business, Life Skills Unlimited, teaching independent living skills to people with developmental disabilities. She attended graduate school at Roosevelt University and holds a graduate-level Illinois teaching certification in special education, specifically called a Learning Behavior Specialist I or LBS I and has a Bachelor of General Studies Degree in Public and Academic Health Education with minors in Business and Spanish from Northern Illinois Univ. Robin has worked as a substitute teacher in elementary through high school classrooms, including the Freeport and Cary School Districts, an Instructional Aide in the Special Education departments at McHenry East High School (all disabilities) and Three Oaks Elementary School in Cary (inclusive classroom for children with ASD) and an on-site Behavior Counselor for the Nutri-System weight loss program.
