Parker Players Theater Company (PPTC) proudly presents The Lion in Winter by James Goldman, directed by Jocelyn Adamski, running February 6 – March 1, 2026 at The Barrington.

Set during Christmas, 1183, The Lion in Winter brings together England’s formidable King Henry II, his estranged wife Eleanor of Aquitaine, and their three ambitious sons for a holiday reunion that quickly devolves into a brilliant and brutal contest for power. Alliances shift, betrayals land with surgical precision, and every conversation hides a trap.

Wickedly funny and thrillingly dramatic, Goldman’s modern classic crackles with intelligence, emotional depth, and razor-sharp wit. Beneath the politics and pageantry lies a timeless portrait of family—where love and rivalry are inseparable, and the fight for legacy cuts deepest among those bound by blood.
