As gold medalists at the 2026 Fischoff National Chamber Music Competition, which is the nation’s largest and most prestigious chamber music competition, this Los Angeles-based ensemble is astounding. Composed of violinist and violist Jason Moon, clarinetist Andrea Caputo and pianist Bogang Hwang from the Colburn School, Trio Caspar swept the competition, capturing the Senior String Division Gold Medal, the Horszowski Trio Prize and the Lift Every Voice Prize.
