Family Planting Day
The Barrington Area Conservation Trust is hosting a Family Planting Day at our Pederson Preserve located at Lake-Cook and Hart roads on September 21st, 2013. Planting of native plants will take place from 1:00 to 3:00pm. Families are invited to come and plant their own plot of native plants to help restore our preserve. Each plot will be marked with the family name using plaques decorated by each family attending the event.
All you need is your gardening gloves. Plaques, plants, plots, plaque decorating supplies and snacks will be supplied by the Barrington Area Conservation Trust.
The fee for this event is a $100.00 tax-deductible donation which includes all of the above plus a one year membership to the BACT. To reserve your spot call 847-387-3149 or e-mail nan@bactrust.org.
