The Trail Challenge 8k is the fifth, and final, event of the Chicago Trail Series, a competitive trail running series held in the Chicago area. The Chicago Trail Series is a fun and unique way for runners to run on the beautiful trails of northern Illinois, while connecting with the growing community of trail runners in the Chicagoland area. We cap this event at 300 participants.

The Trail Challenge 8K will be held at Deer Grove West Forest Preserve in Palatine, Illinois. The entrance to Deer Grove Forest Preserve is off of Quentin Road in between Dundee Road and Lake Cook Road. Parking is available near the registration shelter. There will be signs to direct you towards the race area.
