A cancer diagnosis may include a variety of legal issues related to insurance coverage, employment and taking time off work, access to health care and government benefits, and estate planning. The legal issues can cause worry, confusion, and stress and become overwhelming. The Cancer and Law seminar will discuss the most common cancer related legal issues including: health insurance options, insurance navigation, employment rights and reasonable accommodations in the workplace, taking time off work. Also discussed will be access to disability insurance and government benefits
