Barrington Youth Dance Ensemble Nutcracker Ballet Auditions

Barrington Youth Dance Ensemble (BYDE) will hold auditions for the 2011 BYDE Nutcracker on Sunday, September 11, 2011 from at Barrington Dance Academy, 758 W. Northwest Highway, Barrington, Illinois. Parts are available for both male and female dancers, ages 7 through professional. Dancers from all area studios are encouraged to audition!

12:00 - 12:30 Ages 7 – 8 (Last Names A-L)
12:45 - 1:15 Ages 7 – 8 (Last Names M-Z)
1:30 - 2:00 Ages 9 – 11 (Last Names A-L)
2:15 - 2:45 Ages 9 – 11 (Last Names M-Z)
3:00 - 3:45 Ages 12 – 13
4:00 - 4:45 Ages 14 to Adult

BYDE’s annual Nutcracker Ballet will be performed at Barrington High School on December 2, 3 & 4, 2011. All rehearsals for the Nutcracker are held on Sundays from September 18 through November 20. Technical and dress rehearsals will be held daily from November 27 to December 1. Dancers must be able to attend ALL scheduled rehearsals and performances. A detailed BYDE Nutcracker performance contract is available for review on or before the audition date.  Call BYDE at 847-382-6333 for more information and detailed audition and rehearsal schedules. There is a $20 audition fee.
