Barrington Swim Club will host tryouts on Saturday, August 21, 2021 at 12:00 PM in the Barrington High School Natatorium for the 2021-2022 Fall/Winter season. Barrington Swim Club is a member club of USA Swimming. We have been helping young swimmers in the Barrington Community Unit School District 220 reach their swimming dreams for over 40 years! Barrington Swim Club has been Recognized by USA Swimming as one of the Top Swimming Clubs in the United States 7 of the last 8 years. Barrington Swim Club is the only club in our area that can provide young athletes the opportunity to develop their swimming skills from beginners all the way to the Olympic level. Our professional coaches can help you realize your swimming dream. Whether you want to swim for fun and fitness or you want to train to be the “new kid” on the blocks in Paris 2024 or Los Angeles 2028 we have a place for YOU on OUR TEAM! Join our Swim Family for a season of fun, friends, memories, and FAST Swimming! Barrington Swim Club practices at the Barrington High School Natatorium. Please enter the High School at the Hart Road entrance and park near the football stadium. We will have scheduling, pricing, and online registration help available during the evaluation time. Just bring your suit, goggles and an enthusiastic attitude on Saturday, August 21st at 12:00PM at the Barrington High School Natatorium: 275 Hart Road, Barrington, IL 60010. Prospective teammates must be able to swim 25 yards of the pool Freestyle with Breathing and Backstroke. Our Coaches will evaluate your swimmer and recommend them for placement in one of our training groups. After your try-out you will be recommended for placement in one of our training groups. At that time, you’ll receive a registration packet with the information to become our newest teammate. Once you are placed in a practice group, your training schedule for swimming, diving or water polo will be available on the team website at: www.swimbsc.org.
