Barrington 4th of July Activities & Events
BACC needs Chamber members to “Get Down” with us at the July 4th parade on Saturday, July 4 in Barrington. This year all parade entrants have been asked to pick a decade – so BACC is doing a 70s theme. Come walk with us in 70s attire, strut your stuff, get down, boogie oogie oggie. We’ll be getting a truck to decorate from Marquardt, blasting 70s music like “Staying Alive!” and more.
If you can search through your closet and get your 70s on and join us, let me know. Let’s boogie down!
During the parade we will hand out our traditional BACC mini flags, and about 125 Welcome Neighbor bags. Anyone who walks with us can put something in that bag to promote your business.
The parade kicks off at 10:00 a.m. Walkers will need to meet at our truck between 9 and 9:30 a.m. Parade line up is in the high school lots and we walk from there down Main St. to the train station. You should be finished by 11:30 or so. Thousands of people line the streets – its great visibility and great fun
Can you walk with us? Feel free to bring kids and spouses to join in. Let me know.
