“Meet” the founder of Girl Scouting, and celebrate her birthday as Betsey Means from Women Lore speaks in character as Juliette Gordon Low.
Guests are invited to enjoy Girl Scout historical displays, a Make New Friends S.W.A.P. (Special Whatchamacallits Affectionately Pinned) station, Daisy autograph and photo station, drawings for Girl Scout collectable prizes, traditional Girl Scout Flag Ceremony and closing Friendship Circle, Girl Scout treats and punch.
There is no cost for this event, but please register by October 23, 2015, by contacting the Barrington Area Council on Aging at 847-381-5030 or lavellon@bacoa.org.
