American String Quartet Commemorates 15th Anniversary of 9/11

Come to Barrington’s White House at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 11 to hear the American String Quartet perform “Lyric in the Time of War.” The poignant concert will honor the 15^th anniversary of 9/11, all fallen veterans and those currently serving at home and abroad. This performance by one of the world’s most renowned quartets includes works portraying the emotions of conflict, including readings by poet Tom Sleigh, writing from his experiences as a war correspondent.  Admission is $40 and $20 for students.
