Kelly Nicholas\, MD\, PhD\, Assistant Professor in the Department of Neurology at the University of Chicago Thurs\, Jan 30 from 6:30- 8pm Dr. Nicholas will provide an overview of treatment approaches in primary brain tumors\, focusing on gliomas\, the most common tumors. He will review tumor classification ? the most important factor in determining treatment strategy ? including low grade gliomas\, anaplastic tumors\, glioblastoma\, and oligodendroglioma. He will provide a comparison of standard therapies to experimental strategies. This presentation is for a non-medical audience and will include time for questions and answers and for addressing individual patient/family concerns.
