DESCRIPTION:Thirteenth annual Run for the Arts set for July 4th\n \n"Run for the Arts"  the sanctioned and certified 5K - 10K runs and 2K - 5K walks will take place July 4th. The scenic routs will once again wind there way through the village of Barrington. \nThe thirteenth annual Run for the Arts begins at the heart of Barrington?s Main Street with the runs and 5K walk starting at 7:30 am and the 2K walk beginning immediately after. Entry fee is $25.00 through June 26\; $28.00 thereafter and $15.00 for the walk.  This year?s donation will support the Music Therapy department at Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital.\n\nGood Shepherd Hospital Health & Fitness Center has assumed the responsibility of the race due to the fact that the Barrington Arts Council disbanded last year. In meeting with the Village of Barrington it was decided that as with the original mission of the Arts Council\, the race will still promote the arts within the community. \n\nEntry forms are available at Good Shepherd Hospital Health & Fitness Center or by calling 847-620-4500.\n\nIf you do not think you can participate in the run or walk but still want to join in the fun\, just contact us and become a Volunteer and join in the fun. Volunteers can call 847-620-4589.
