We will discuss characteristics of gifted children\, some of the challenges of raising them\, gifted testing and identification\, and different approaches to education. We will also talk about gifted programming and the laws governing gifted education. Our discussion will be lead by Amanda Davey. Amanda is active in both the Chicago Gifted Community Center and the Illinois Association for Gifted Children. She holds a masters degree in gifted education and has worked at several private gifted schools around Chicago. Currently she is the Director of Enrollment at Quest Academy. Come join the discussion.
