DESCRIPTION:Two Hearts Rock   is seeking your support for a local awareness benefit on Friday\, January 25\, 2013: a public screening of a newly-released medical documentary. This Event will be held at Hawthorn Woods Country Club in Hawthorn Woods\, Illinois beginning at 6:00 pm.\n\n\n\n "Here.Us.Now."\, a film by Emmy award-winning director\, Rudy Poe\, chronicles a family with twin daughters diagnosed with a rare genetic\, fatal disease\, and their courageous battle to find medical breakthroughs. Following the screening\, all guests will enjoy Live Music by the local group\, "Out of Storage".\n\n\n\nTwo Hearts Rock \, a nonprofit founded by Lake Zurich residents\, Lori Butler and Kerry Hughes\, facilitates unique high energy\, music events that educate & elevate a critical medical cause: Rare Disease. Rare diseases affect 1 in 10 Americans\; 350 million people worldwide are collectively suffering. Although there are nearly 7\,000 known rare diseases\, only 200 have FDA-approved drug treatments.\n\n\n\nKiley Andrasco\, age 11\, of Lake Zurich\, is one of just 600 people in the world diagnosed with Alternating Hemiplegia of Childhood\, or AHC. She is the niece of chamber member Kathy Sharo of Web Words Matter.\n\n\n\nThe mission of Two Hearts Rock  is to raise awareness and fuel medical research for Rare Disease by using music as a platform for creating unity and hope.  Two Hearts Rock  is a strategic partner of California-based\, Global Genes | R.A.R.E. Project\, one of the leading genetic disease patient advocacy organizations in the world.\n\n\n\nThe success of this Event will be based largely upon generous donors like yourself\, who are willing to invest in this Cause by making a monetary donation.  Any dollar amount is greatly appreciated\; however\, if you would like the benefits of brand or company recognition\, sponsorship opportunities are available.\n\n\n\nThank you in advance for joining Two Hearts Rock  as an Instrument of Hope in our mission to turn up the volume for the Rare Disease Community.
