She has been performing for fifteen years in and around the Chicago land area. Performing (alongside bands like Rancid and The Vandals) guitar and vocals for Chicago indie bands like The House That Gloria Vanderbilt and Fear of Floating she has gone back to her original singer songwriter style. Elizabeth's sound is described as a mix of gypsy blues\, folk\, country and indie rock. With influences ranging from Billie Holliday and Patsy Cline to Elliott Smith\, Tom Waits\, and Jolie Holland\, she has developed a sound that is pleasantly haunting yet familiar. Accompanying Elizabeth is her husband John "Montana" Slevira who also runs Third Coast Guitar services in Palatine\, IL. Between work and being parents of young children\, they love finding time to play music together.
