All pet picture submissions should be sent to: southbarrington@pinotspalette.com\n\nHeartland Animal Shelter is a no-kill\, not-for-profit 501(c) 3 organization that provides a safe haven for dogs & cats. They do not discriminate against breed\, age\, size or health.  They also care for pregnant mothers\, pups\, kittens\, injured geriatric dogs and cats\, even the ones that would normally be overlooked. "Together we can make a difference" has been their motto since the doors opened at Heartland Animal Shelter in 2002. Heartland is proud to say that they have rescued and found home for over 6\,500 dogs and cats. Heartland Animal Shelter is grateful for the support and compassion the community and individuals provide\, and with your help\, they can continue to provide food\, shelter and lots of tender loving care for unwanted animals who might otherwise suffer an uncertain fate.
