SUMMARY:GINGERBREAD HOUSE COMPETITION
DESCRIPTION:Coming this holiday season is Buffalo Creek's gingerbread house building competition. Gather your team and prepare for an evening of fun on December 7th and/or December 14th. Teams must register on Buffalo Creek's website store. Limited to 12 teams per evening.\n\n\n\nStarts at 5:30pm when each team is provided a gingerbread house kit and a sack of candy from Ma & Pa's Candy using the rules of White Elephant. Teams draw numbers to determine what order they will go in. The first team selects a sack from the pool and opens it. The following teams can choose to either pick an unopened sack from the pool or steal a previous team's sack. Any team who gets their sack stolen in this way can do the same   choose a new sack or steal from another team. After all teams have had a turn\, the first team gets a chance to swap their sack.\n\n\n\nNext\, the theme for the gingerbread house building competition is revealed and the race is on but WAIT\, THERE'S MORE!! One member from each team may run across the parking lot to Ma & Pa's candy to purchase additional candy adornments.\n\n\n\nTeams have until 8:30pm to complete their themed gingerbread houses before being judged by Ma\, Pa and the owner. Judging criteria will be based on Creativity\, Theme\, Workmanship. All gingerbread houses will be photographed with their respective teams.
