DESCRIPTION:DEER PARK\, ILLINOIS   Center Academy of Dance\, the dance division of Center for Ballroom and Dance\, will be holding their annual Open House on Saturday\, August 17 from 1   3pm.  Come tour their beautiful\, spacious 9400 square feet studios with sprung floors\, gorgeous windows\, and high vaulted ceilings\, nibble on lights snacks and refreshments\, and get to know their staff.  Then dive into their "Try It" class from 1:30   2:30pm where children can try different genres of dance from ballet\, jazz\, hip hop\, tap\, and ballroom.  Afterwards\, meet their new outstanding faculty all with professional backgrounds and years of experience.  Have questions\, no problem\, Alyce Keaggy-Brinkman\, will be holding a question and answer session from 2:30   3:00pm.  So go see what they have to offer and why Center Academy of Dance is the best choice for high quality dance education.  They will also be holding a raffle for a chance to win 1 class for the year at 50% off\, so do not forget to enter.\n\n\n\nAlyce Keaggy-Brinkmann\,\n\nArtistic Director of CAD and Founder and Artistic Director of Illinois Youth Dance Theatre*\n\nMs. Keaggy-Brinkmann has danced professionally for Milwaukee Ballet Company for 13 years beginning in 1983. She was promoted to soloist in 1986 by Artistic Director Basil Thompson and is a former faculty member of Milwaukee School of Ballet.  Her professional training took place on scholarship at the Ruth Page Foundation of Chicago as well as the Lyric Opera Ballet of Chicago. She has studied and worked with Ballet Masters Elena Tchernichova\, Victoria Simon\, Lupe Serrano and Kelly Brown. She has toured nationally and internationally with the Milwaukee Ballet\, Pennsylvania Ballet and as a principal dancer with Williams/Gerard Productions of New York.\n\n*Illinois Youth Dance Theatre is a non-profit performing company housed under CAD\n\n\n\nCAD Open House\n\nSaturday\, August 17 from 1   3pm\n\n2140 W.
