DESCRIPTION:Calling all seasoned and emergent chalk artists\, as well as participants from local high schools and universities\, to the Sidewalk Days 3rd Annual Barrington Chalk Art Festival\, on July 28 & July 29\, showcasing the works of diverse artists who will use chalk as their medium\, and the sidewalks near the Ice House Mall & Village Shops as their canvas. Categories defined are 8 and under\; 9 14\; 15 18\; and family/group.  "Best of Show" winners will be judged and announced on July 29 at 3:00 pm. Winners will receive a $25.00 Gift Certificate redeemable at the Ice House Mall.  The first 50 registrants will receive a complementary box of pastels\, provided by The Learning Express Toys of Barrington and may pick up their FREE chalk by visiting The Learning Express Toys store in the Ice House Mall & Village Shops. Registration on site or at www.barringtonchamber.com.  There is no charge to participate or to be a spectator!
