DESCRIPTION:THIS EVENT IS NOW SOLD OUT!\n\n\n\nEnjoy our popular "Sipping Saturday"  in downtown Barrington on Saturday\, October 9 from 2 to 6 p.m. during the Barrington Fall Wine Walk. This popular event provides a unique opportunity to enjoy fine wines from local suppliers while exploring distinctive shops and restaurants. An added attraction - during the day enjoy watching artists paint in the streets as part of the Plein Air Art Festival in downtown Barrington hosted by the Barrington Cultural Commission!  \n\nThe Fall Wine Walk will be held rain or shine. All sampling happens inside merchant locations. Parking is available on the street - in the Barrington Village Center parking lot\, in the Village Hall parking lot\, on Cook Street and in the BMO parking lot off of Cook Street\, and in other locations.\n\nAll attendees must check in for their souvenir wine glass\, Wine Walk tour map and sample tracking sheet.  Attendees will be given staggered check-in times and specific starting locations to help manage the flow of attendees throughout the downtown. All IDs will be checked at registration. One sample is available at each wine tour location. There are multiple wine stops. All Wine MUST be consumed inside the Wine Walk Stop!\n\nThis event will be conducted with COVID Conscious safety measures in place. Guests are asked to wear masks as needed\, socially distance while waiting for wine samples\, and follow any store capacity requirements noted at each location. By process of attending this event\, guests are confirming they are free of COVID symptoms such as Fever\, Dry Cough\, Body Aches\, Headaches\, Sore Throat\, Runny Nose\, Tiredness\, and Shortness of Breath.  Temperatures will be taken at registration. \n\nThe Wine Walk is a wonderful opportunity to experience the shops and restaurants in downtown Barrington\, and to enjoy some art. Plan to spend the afternoon walking around town\, tasting fine wine\, safely socializing with friends and shopping at unique stores.
