DESCRIPTION:There's a powerful force for good right here in our community 100 Women Who Care   NW \n\nSuburban Chicago.\n\nThis incredible group of women is proving that when individual\n\ncontributions unite\, they ignite a powerful movement fueling lasting impact and deserving\n\nsupport for local charities in need.\nHow It Works\n\nThere is no pressure to become a member right away. You are welcome to attend a meeting\,\n\nlearn more and see firsthand how this incredible group operates.\n\nThe meetings are held quarterly at Moretti's in Barrington\, beginning with a social hour at 6:00 \n\nPM\, where members and guests can catch up\, order dinner and drinks\, and enjoy each other's \n\ncompany. At 7:00 PM\, the heart of the meeting begins:\n\n- Three pre-selected charities are nominated and presented (each for just five minutes).\n\n-  Members vote anonymously for the charity they believe should receive the group's\n\ndonation.\n\n- The charity with the most votes is awarded the full amount\, and members write a $100\n\ncheck directly to the winning organization.\n\nThe evening concludes promptly at 8:00 PM\, with additional time afterward to socialize and\n\ncelebrate the collective generosity of the group.\n \n\nWhen you donate $100 to a charity\, you may wonder if your contribution is making a difference.\n\nBut when 100 women each donate $100\, they raise $10\,000 in a single evening!
